No Two LMT Homes Are the Same — Because No Two Families Are
LMT Custom Homes, LLC builds exceptional custom homes in communities in the greater Hartford, Connecticut area. Founded by David Gordon, the company's mission is straightforward: deliver unique homes that enhance and exemplify comfort, value, and quality of life. Every home reflects that commitment — well-designed from the ground up, built with superior craftsmanship, and finished with the attention to detail that earns lasting customer satisfaction. LMT is an eco-friendly builder and a family-first company by design — named for Livy, Mason and Tyler Gordon, the children of CEO/President, David Gordon.
One Builder, One Point of Contact, From Blueprint to Move-In
David works one-on-one with every client to design a home that truly reflects their lifestyle and character — integrating his design expertise with the homeowner's own aspirations and ideas to produce something genuinely unique. Plan development is a core part of that journey: David assists with interior selections too, ensuring every room successfully interprets and reflects the vision you came in with.
Most LMT homes are built in large, family-oriented communities — outdoor living space, cul-de-sacs where kids can play, and easy access to great schools, medical facilities, and shopping. If you already have a lot in mind, David can work with your site. If you're still looking, LMT has lots available.
Craftsmanship and Detail You Can See
Built 2,500 to 12,000 Square Feet
Every LMT custom home — whether 2,500 or 12,000 square feet — is designed with architectural style, lot placement, and landscaping considered together from day one. The result is a home built to maximize value and function, and to genuinely beckon you inside. See the full range of custom and spec homes in our Project Gallery.
Interior Finishes That Last
Step inside any LMT home and the craftsmanship is visible immediately: beamed and coffered ceilings, wainscoting, paneled libraries and staircases, built-in shelving. Interior moldings and woodwork are a specialty. Quality, comfort, and value are as tangible as the brick and mortar — and the spirit of trust and personal service that goes into each home doesn't end at delivery.
Find Your Lot — or Bring Your Own
LMT can help you locate the right property, work with a site you've already chosen, or show you lots currently available. Call David directly at 772-999-8110 for the most current inventory information.
The Building Process
Lower Utility Bills. Built Into Every Home.
LMT Custom Homes is a partner in the ENERGY STAR qualified new homes program — and David stays current on the latest energy-efficient building technology and products so every client benefits. The results are measurable:

- In 2011, we built an ENERGY STAR Qualified Home. Eliminating the emissions from .49 vehicles. Saving 2,964 lbs of coal. Planting .81 acres of trees. Saving homeowners $447 on their utility bills.
- In 2010, we built two ENERGY STAR Qualified Homes. The energy savings of these homes is equivalent to: eliminating the emissions from .98 vehicles, saving 5,928 lbs of coal, planting 1.62 acres of trees and saving homeowners $894 on their utility bills.
- In 2009, we built an Energy Certified Home equivalent to saving 2,964 lbs of coal or planting more than three quarters of an acre of trees.
